Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Anthropology and Afrikaans – University of South Africa (UNISA)
Bachelor of Arts Honours in Psychology – University of South Africa (UNISA)
Master’s Degree in Psychology – University of Fort Hare

My interest in psychology developed from an early curiosity about human behaviour and the psychological processes that shape our thoughts, emotions, and relationships. This interest evolved into a commitment to ethical, evidence-based mental health care.

I completed my Bachelor of Arts degree at UNISA, majoring in Psychology, Anthropology, and Afrikaans, and graduated cum laude. I then completed an Honours degree in Psychology, followed by a Master’s degree in Psychology, also completed cum laude.

During my Master’s training, I contributed to the South African norm studies for the Wechsler Intelligence Scale – Fourth Edition (WAIS-IV). Under the supervision of Prof. Dirk Odendaal, Dr. Ida Pienaar, and Dr. Glynnis Martin, I developed advanced skills in psychological assessment, psychotherapy, and aspects regarding neuropsychology.

I completed my internship at the Psychological Services Centre in East London and am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA). In 2014, I established my private practice in Komani, where I continue to serve the local community.
